Scholarships

To afford to study Jeanette impressed and was awarded a number of scholarships over the years.  Interestingly, when  Jeanette needed some extra cash to qualify,  Jeanette, thinking outside the box, applied and appeared on a TV game show on ITV to win the rest of the cash she needed .

Ask her about it, it's quite a story!

Commendations

Jeanette has received a number of commendations during her career including a Crown Court Judge commendation for her investigation into a conspiracy to breach UK immigration laws by a organised crime gang arranging sham marriages. There were 6 defendants. The Commendation stated:

“His Honour Judge Brown commends the officer for the way in which the case was investigated and the evidence collated. It was a cross jurisdictional complex case and the officer was professional, thorough and impressive throughout”

She also received a commendation for her work as a Detective for the UK Home Office Criminal and Financial Crime and Fugitives Team.

Jeanette  therefore is able to use her experience as an Investigator of Organised Crime Gangs to advise writers and producers in stories involving organised crime.
